Software built for the cloud you run on

EDM Software is a US-based engineering studio. We design, build and support web and mobile applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure and DigitalOcean — with a five-person senior team that stays with you long after launch.

What we do

Small team. Full stack. Every layer of the cloud.

From the first API endpoint to the last DNS record, we own the whole path — product engineering, infrastructure and the support that keeps it running.

Custom software development

Back-end systems, internal tools and APIs designed around how your business actually works — in Node.js, Python, .NET and Go.

Web & mobile applications

Fast web apps and native-feeling iOS and Android apps with React, Next.js, React Native and Flutter — shipped to the stores and the cloud.

Cloud architecture & migration

Greenfield architectures and phased migrations — on-prem to cloud, or between AWS, Azure and DigitalOcean — with rollback plans at every step.

DevOps & CI/CD

Infrastructure as code with Terraform and Bicep, automated pipelines on GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, containers and Kubernetes done right.

Managed cloud support

Monitoring, alerting, patching, backups and incident response — handled by the same engineers who built your system.

Cost & performance tuning

Right-sizing, reserved capacity planning, caching and query work that make your app faster and your monthly cloud bill smaller.

Platforms

Three clouds. One accountable team.

We pick the platform that fits your product, budget and compliance needs — not the one we happen to know best.

Microsoft Azure Microsoft Azure Partner

An official Microsoft Azure partner

Our partnership with Microsoft keeps our engineers close to the latest Azure guidance, tooling and partner resources — so your Azure workloads are built the way Microsoft intends them to run.

  • Well-Architected by default

Reliability, security, cost, operations and performance reviewed against the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

  • Identity & security from day one

Microsoft Entra ID, role-based access, Key Vault and Defender for Cloud configured before the first deploy.

  • Microsoft 365 & .NET friendly

Seamless integration with the Microsoft stack your organization already relies on.

How we work

From idea to production in four clear steps

  1. 01

    Discover

Goals, constraints and existing systems — and an honest recommendation on which cloud fits.

  2. 02

    Architect

Architecture, estimates and a delivery plan you can actually read, with costs projected up front.

  3. 03

    Build

Two-week sprints and weekly demos. Code and infrastructure live in your accounts from day one.

  4. 04

    Run & support

Launch, monitoring and ongoing care — or a clean, documented hand-over to your own team.

Who we are

Five engineers. Zero hand-offs.

We're intentionally small. Every project is scoped, built and supported by senior engineers — no layers of account managers between you and the people writing your code.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Email us.

Which cloud should we build on?

It depends on your stack, compliance requirements and budget. Microsoft-centric organizations usually get the most out of Azure, AWS offers the broadest service catalog, and DigitalOcean is often the most cost-effective choice for startups and simpler workloads. We'll make a clear recommendation during discovery — and we're just as happy to work with whatever you already run.

Can you take over an existing application?

Yes. We start with a short code and infrastructure audit, document what we find, then stabilize, secure and improve the system step by step — without a risky rewrite.

Do you migrate workloads between clouds?

Yes — on-premises to cloud, between AWS, Azure and DigitalOcean, or from one service model to another (virtual machines to containers, containers to serverless). Migrations are planned in phases with rollback paths and minimal downtime.

Who owns the code and infrastructure?

You do. Everything lives in your repositories and your cloud accounts from day one, with infrastructure defined as code and documented so any team can pick it up.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

We're headquartered in the US and work primarily in US time zones, but we regularly collaborate with teams abroad. Overlapping working hours are agreed up front.

How does an engagement start?

Send us a short note about what you're building. We'll set up a 30-minute call and, if there's a fit, propose a discovery phase with a clear scope, timeline and estimate.
